Step 1: Place the tippet and leader alongside of and opposite from each other. Form a loop. Pinch and hold the leader and tippet firmly at the top of the loop.

Step 2: Continue to pinch and hold the leader and tippet firmly at the top of the loop. Insert the hemostat in the loop and twist the loop three times.

Step 3: Gently grasp both the leader end and the tippet and pull them through the loop.

Step 4: Remove the hemostat at tease the long tippet end completely through the loop. Pull all four strands to carefully and firmly close the knot. All knots should be moistened before tightening, Trim the tag ends.
