Rene Harrop's Techniques & Flies
A brief list of patterns, techniques, and advice from fly-fishing legend Rene Harrop.
Organizing your fly boxes makes it easier to find specific patterns while you're on the water. In the December 2004 issue of Fly Fisherman, Rene Harrop shares his fly-box system and explains how to create one customized to the type of hatches you expect to encounter, displaying four of his fly boxes as examples. For those interested in the specific flies contained in the boxes, below are the boxes with a list of the flies.
